<p>Unfortunately, this is exactly the problem with these types of drugs. People become completely dependent on these medications to mask their anxiety disorder symptoms. The sad part about that is that it doesn&#8217;t have to be that way.</p>
<p>Anyone who suffers from <strong>anxiety</strong> or panic attacks knows that relief is their greatest wish. There are so many different drugs that are available on the market today that it is staggering. If you go to your doctor and tell them that you&#8217;re anxious, they are likely to prescribe any one of a variety of <strong>anxiety disorder drugs</strong>.</p>

<p>The chemicals in these drugs have a calming effect on the brain. While that sounds like a very inviting substance to have in your cupboard, it can become an addictive spiral that the patient has a hard time escaping from in the end.</p>
<p>One problem is that most anxiety patients find that they need more and more of the drug for it to be effective. So while they might start on a lower dose of the medication, they often end up ramping upward until they are at the maximum dosage.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s very sad to think that some people are simply not functional without these types of medications. They may be put on an anti-anxiety medication such as Xanax or Ativan, or they might be put on a serotonin specific reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) such as Prozac.</p>
<p>While these drugs might have their place in society, it seems that they might be getting over-prescribed. Many times, <strong>anxiety disorders</strong> can be easily treated using a variety of natural methods including exercise and a change in eating habits.</p>
<p><strong>Anxiety disorder drugs</strong> can be useful in situations where the patient is being sidelined in their life due to the overwhelming panic attacks they are having. However, they should be a short-term solution while the patient attempts to find a long-term fix for the problem.</p>
<p>Instead, many people are becoming addicted to these drugs which forever changes their life.</p>
<p>There are many, many reason why <a href="http://www.anxietydisorderdrugs.com/" target="_new">anxiety disorder drugs</a> are not a long term solution.</p>
<p>I know obsessive compulsive anxiety disorders, social phobias or any generalized anxiety disorders can be masked with a simple prescription and the swallow of a pill.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are times when we feel anxious and moody. So what? We all go through the same things from time to time, don’t we? Anxiety and depression are normal part of life. Who has not studied for an exam without having test anxiety, and then scored much higher for it? Anxiety can keep us alert. Depression, on the other hand, can slow us down, giving us time to reflect and recollect ourselves. In other words, anxiety and depression express moods that are familiar to everybody.</p>
<p>But, when anxiety and depression seem to come from nowhere, last for weeks without relief, and get in the way of everyday activities, then we are not talking ordinary moods anymore; they are now illnesses. Anxiety and depressions are one of the most common mental illnesses in the world today.</p>
<p><span id="more-621"></span></p>
<p>People with anxiety disorder may have several physical symptoms, like trembling, sweating, muscle aches, nausea, fatigue, palpitation, dry mouth, cold and clammy hands. Emotionally, they are apprehensive, irritable; they have the feeling of impending doom, and they are self-conscious- feeling like being watched and criticized, etc. Obviously, people with anxiety disorder are often left immobilized. Anxiety keeps them house-bound, away from people, not able to do normal and simple for fear of this or that. People experiencing anxiety symptoms should know that it is a common disorder and is very curable.<br />
The anxiety symptoms that you may experience include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Palpitations</li>
<li>Increased sweating</li>
<li>Shaking</li>
<li>Shortness of breath</li>
<li>Chest pain</li>
<li>Nausea or stomach discomfort</li>
<li>Feeling of light-headedness</li>
<li>A feeling of unreality</li>
<li>Feeling of being detached from oneself</li>
<li>Fear of losing control or going crazy</li>
<li>Fear of dying</li>
<li>Feeling of impending doom</li>
</ul>
<p>Depression, on the other hand, is a serious medical condition that affects the body, mood, and thoughts. It affects the way a person eats and sleeps, one’s self concept, and the way one thinks about things. A depressive disorder is not the same as passing blue mood. It is not an indication of personal weakness or a state that can be willed or wished away. A person with depressive disorder usually can’t pull themselves together and get better. Without treatment, symptoms can last for weeks to years. The treatment involves medications and/or temporary psychotherapy, which can be more helpful with depression sufferer. The symptoms of depressions may include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Persistent sad, anxious, or empty mood</li>
<li>Feelings of hopelessness, pessimism</li>
<li>Loss of interest in hobbies or activities that were once enjoyed, including sex</li>
<li>Guilty feelings, worthlessness, helplessness</li>
<li>Decreased energy, fatigue</li>
<li>Difficulty concentrating, remembering, making decisions</li>
<li>Appetite and/or weight changes</li>
<li>Trouble sleeping or oversleeping, early morning awakening</li>
<li>Thoughts of death or suicide, or suicide attempts</li>
<li>Restlessness and irritability</li>
<li>Persistent physical symptoms such as headaches, digestive disorders, and chronic pain that does not respond to routine treatment.</li>
</ul>
<p>Anxiety and depression are two different conditions, but they are the same in the sense of the intensity of how serious these conditions can be. They are among the most common and most treatable mental illnesses in the world.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Everyone knows what it feels like to be anxious- you feel butterflies in your stomach your actions become topsy-turvy, you can almost hear your heart beat right next to your ears, and you are sweating like you are jogging. These are what you go through usually if you have stage fright and you are required to speak in public, or during your first date (who knows when was that!). These, among other feelings (feelings of anxiety) are normal reactions to stress.</p>
<p>Anxiety stirs you up in action. It helps you deal with a tense situation like focusing on a speech that you are about to give, studying harder for an exam, or staying interesting on your first date to make it to the second, and all that. In general, it helps you deal with any situation that is normally terrifying, especially if you are doing it the first time. I, for one, have many times been in this kind of situation and I can tell you it is only passing. But, if it elevates to excessive, irrational fear of everyday situations, now it has become an immobilizing disorder.</p>
<p><span id="more-589"></span>Anxiety disorder can cause you to be filled with fearfulness and ambiguity which maybe felt briefly only. However some anxiety disorder last at least 6 months and has the tendency to get worse if not treated immediately. Anxiety disorders usually occur along with other psychological or physical sickness, including alcohol or drug abuse, which can actually worsen the situation.</p>
<p>If you think you have anxiety disorder, don’t hesitate to seek information about it and find treatment right away before it gets into you. There are effective therapies out there and recent research reveals new treatments that can help most people with this condition lead fruitful and fulfilling lives.</p>
<p>There are five major types of anxiety disorders; general anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panics disorder, posttraumatic disorder (PST), specific phobias, and social phobia or social anxiety disorder. Each of the anxiety disorder has different symptoms, but all the symptoms come together around excessive and irrational fear or dread.</p>
<p>Every normal thinking person is expected to feel anxious in certain areas of his/her life, especially when he/she feels out of control of a situation. There are many reasons that anxiety creeps to your life but if it triggers you to some positive action, then you are handling it the best way.</p>
<p>Stop worrying too much after you have done the best you can on any life situation or responsibility. Let things be, if things are meant to happen, they will happen. Enjoy life for there are many reasons to be happy, so why worry?</p>
