Promise not perfunctory diet? It is the right choice.  Besides unhealthy, perfunctory diet is impossible in the long run, weight gain was reduced too quickly and then rose again.  But apparently behind a badness of fad diets, there are lessons that can be learned, as follows:

1. Choose Your Carbohydrates
The method of cutting dietary intake of sugar (sugar buster diet) recommends replacing carbohydrate high glycemic index (GI) such as potatoes, cornflakes, and white bread to a low GI carbs such as sweet potatoes, oatmeal, and bread wheat. The fact is that if the food had a high GI cause an increase in blood sugar more quickly, resulting in more fat storage is still debated. Many pro and contra of the truth that’s foods with low GI can lose weight. But low GI foods considered having higher fiber so it can be more nutritious choices.

2. Start with Soup
It makes sense if you successfully weight-loss by eating only vegetable soup (cabbage soup diet) several times a day without eating other foods. But you will receive very little the intake of calories, thus slowing your metabolism, plus, soup nutrition is inadequate for your daily nutritional needs. The lesson is eating vegetable soup is a good idea if done before meals. Research shows that people who eat soup before eating, tend to eat the main meal with a small amount compared to they’re not eating soup before meals.

3. Protein Pump
Just eat foods with high protein (Atkin’s diet) can help reduce weight. Atkin diet supporters claimed that the carbohydrate makes the body inefficient at glucose processing and carbohydrates cut can pump body to fat burn. What’s the problem?  You are allowed to eat bacon, butter, and beef steak, all contain lots of unhealthy saturated fats. If you are, trying to lose a few pounds of weight, eating protein can help; because it takes longer to digest, so keep feeling full longer. Choose low-fat as chicken breast fillets or tofu, and limit your intake of calories from protein, no more than 30 percent (in some cases, excess protein can lead to kidney stones and problems with calcium absorption).

4. Portion Control
The meal replacement as bars and drinks form, as recommended in the Cambridge diet, can accelerate weight loss if it remains in consumption when you have achieved the dream weight. Not only makes bored eating the same food every day, even the contained nutrients insufficient.  One thing is true in this diet is its emphasis on portion, and so you can get the same benefits by eating foods such as yogurt, cheese and frozen foods, but  the size for individual.
